I think Pinckney is a step below the other two. He still has a year before a decision to add him to the 40 man roster has to be made. It's nice he's made AAA, but he does not sniff the MLB roster unless a number of OFs are traded and there's injuries to others.

From what I've seen, Pinckney is not close to Hassell. Hassell looks like he has figured out AAA and needs to be up in the bigs to see if he is a starter or at worst a 4th OF. I think Lile is getting that right now, and I'd argue that Hassell's defense is worth having him on the roster over Young.

wouldn't be against moving some of the others and using Young as a 4th OF/ platoon guy. But yes, trade from strength and open slots for guys you want to play.
