In for a dime, in for $43.333 million, plus $14 million for the rest of this year.

Max trade is just pending a few details. No names of who the Rangers traded to the Metsies. Or how much Cohen will pay of Max's salary.

It's supposedly Acuña's younger brother going to the Mets. A SS.

That’s what ESPN is reporting.

Cards in sell mode.  Rangers hurting some for SP with Eovaldi now going on the IL, so Montgomery and Scherzer are nick of time acquisitions.

I am taking it as a good sign that the Twins haven't pulled the trigger on a deal. I think both Finnegan and Thomas could end up there.

Jays acquire Paul DeJong. Bichette was hurt last night. I don't know if this consumes some interest and bidding capital on the part of the Jays. Twins are supposed to be in on Teoscar.

Luckily the Mets are not in a sell off. Mister Met would be gone then.

From MLB.Com:

https://www.mlb.com/news/justin-verlander-traded-to-astros

I wonder what Pete Alonso thinks now. On Saturday night, he said he was "confused" about the Mets direction. Lindor said that he had been assured the Mets intended to make the playoffs...this year. All this leaves Alonso, Lindor, Nimmo, and McNeill, plus whatever their farm system tosses up and whatever free agents Cohen wants to buy this off-season.

Being Metsie.

And good for Dusty.
