Weems is such a good teammate. DIdn't want Gray to feel bad about giving up a homer

Is there really nobody in the system who can replace Dickerson?

Maybe the Nats are hoping, hoping, hoping faintly that they can flip Dickerson. Seems about like flipping Nelson Cruz...

It just blows my mind that a team this bad can’t pick in the top 10 of the draft lol.

Here's hoping that Crews and Wood arrive about this time next year. And Cavalli and Rutledge also. They will trade Candelario at the deadline, bringing up Alu. Maybe Lipscomb and House will be ready around the season after.

I keep looking at the young Cardinals players who seem to hit hard against the Nats pitching. Maybe soon the Nats will have some sluggers, but our team cannot feast on the bottom the way Baltimore did...

And if nobody wants Dickerson, then DFA him. As Slate says, he just takes at-bats from young players who might contribute for a couple seasons.

I was chomping at the bit when Smith came to bat with his bottom feeder BA with RISP. But somehow the gods saved him from my visceral rant. He is also taking away AB’s from other young prospects.

This coaching staff can’t return.  But Mini Me will be happy to bring them back if the price is right.

Nats seem to have forgotten that this was a road series.
