That would be fantastic. A large market team bidding on his services should mean his time in DC was a success. At least on a personal level. Now if you had said Pittsburgh, that’d be a kick in the pants.

So Crews reported to WPB.  Can anybody tell me what he is doing down there?  IOW, what advantage is there to have him at that facility versus being up here with a minor league affiliate?

Its been over a month since he faced live pitching. Probably want to give him a warm up

More facilities probably and they have a Florida rookie league team there. No harm to to him spending a week or so with that team to get some at bats before Fredsburg.

gotta wonder if they will let him play a couple of weeks and then bump to either Wilmington or Harrisburg. Would love to see Harrisburg trot out the Hassell-Crews-Wood outfield, with House and Lipscomb at 3rd and 2nd.

Just skip Wilmington and go right to Double A. Theres nothing in Low A or High A that is going to be a challenge
