Crews - Langford - Skenes in that order

The only way you take Skenese ahead of the other two is if you have ownership and a team ready to compete right now. We don't. Skenes isn't spending a full season in the minors. He's here by the end of June 2024. He has a finite number of bullets in that arm. You don't waste them in the minors, and you don't waste them on meaningless seasons. Unless the Lerners are willing to up by payroll by another 100 million, there's no reason to take Skenes ahead of the other two.

In 2025 we will be ready to compete. Skenes is the guy to get us to the playoffs.

Or draft Skenes and sign him to an extension just like Stras did (the first one, not the second deal)

Nope. Dont bother. His arm will be toast by then. You get, maybe, four good seasons out Skenes
