What were the odds of Porzingis getting an extremely rare injury?  50-50 probably.

I had lost track, but IIRC there was a sequence where either he was hit or fell awkwardly. Next man up, Luke Kornet

he's in that 1% that is vulnerable to a life-threatening infection of his perineum.

Shades of Walton; they had to know given his injury history that this was possible. Now that Tillman is healthy and seemed to have showed up the couple of minutes they gave them playoff time, it may seem smart to rotate him in as well.

Tillman probably allows for switching on D more than Kornet. Kornet I think they'd like to just match up with Gafford and their non-Luka bigs.

7 ft tall athletic bigs get injured. It just happens. It’s why the talk of Wemby being the next Jordan is absurd. Best base for that build if KD or KG and both missed large swaths of time due to injury

you are onto something. They used to say there had never been a successful center over about 7' 2", certainly none over 7'4". How tall was Sampson?

That was looking like a 2022 Finals fourth-quarter for the Celtics

That was a fixed game.  Mavs all the momentum then two bogus calls on Luka back to back.   Disgusting officiating

He’s hurting and the playoffs are a long run. Not easy. Celtics are just the better team.

Celts do seem to blow a fair number of really big leads. It's never over 'til it's over with them. Kristaps can now be held out of Game 4 if even if the docs allow him to play.

Game four will tell the tale...getting a day off spells doom for the Celtics...  :P

Was at the Argentina game and checked the score and saw the Celtics had 35 at halftime? Did Luka’s chest contusion etc. heal since Wednesday night?

I think that's the lowest point total in the 1st half in the Mazzulla era. Mavs played nice D. Always thought I'd be happy with taking the 1st 2 and wining one in Dallas. Still am. At least the Mavs fans got to see them clicking. Like to close it out Monday.

Bronny to the Lakers.

This may be the most impressive Lebron feat yet. He’s still good enough to force the Lakers to draft his non-prospect son at age 39

Anyone looking forward to seeing Kyrie, Luca, and a washed Klay play defense?

If you want to pick up majority interest in the Celts by 3025 and all of the team in 2028, call Wyc Grousbeck
