Not so easy to hate the B's with the Rat out...still...GO CATS!!!!
I’m just figuring they have a better chance to beat the Rags. Go Western Conference.

If you push someone into their own goalie it’s the same as if you hit the goalie. So they blew the call. Maybe they felt it was just a live tap.
the official line that it wasn't that hard just doesn't wash. The rule is supposed to protect the goalie. I don't think you call it like it was a bump of wing in a corner digging for a puck. No contact in the crease should be a bright line, but I guess Toronto doesn't call it that way and the refs aren't going to overrule themselves.

The play was series-determinative. Yes, it was only the tying goal, not the go ahead, but with the penalty attached and the extended power play, the follow-on goal flowed from it.  The Bs weren't going to get another goal, so instead of a possible 2-2 series with Panthers having the home ice edge, it's 3-1 with only needing one more with 2 of those games in Florida. The Panthers are the better team if the B's can't score, but the Panthers didn't need a bad call to win the series.

It absolutely should be a complete no go, and then all of a sudden you won’t see people that close in the crease risking it. Doing anything less and leaving it to a judgment call seems ridiculous.

To leave so much up to some replay booth increasingly seems like an interest killer, combined with extremely long seasons, to matter less and less they let in every team under the sun into the playoffs.

Kuzy beats Panarin to the puck and scores the go ahead goal.

Go Canes.

Haven’t had a 0-3 series comeback in a while. It’s time.

Avs lose Nukushkin. Six month suspension. Drug addiction probably. Toews also out this game.

I hung in for a period and a half. Sounds like I missed a great ending. F*** Betman.

Third period collapse by the Canes. Wonder if they will cut ties with Rod the Bod?

Guessing they offer him less than he wants and he would be the one to cut the ties.  I can't think that they all don't want to continue together...but there's no tellin'.  Who else would they get?

Toronto is after Berube looks like. I guess once you win a Cup your overall record doesn’t matter to the owners. Carolina is very talented. Goalie really blew it letting in that second Rangers goal. Changed everything. Disappointed to see them go out again early. Go Cats.

Well, the Rags advanced, but the B's go down.  Fair enough...

Been several great finishes this week.  Nice to finally see one. Now to stay awake for the late game.

New Yorkers root for the rangers, their parents for Florida.

Couldn’t make it past the third period. South Stars win in second OT. One spot left in the Final Four.

I bailed at 12:30 or so in 2OT...glad I did, as it was less than a minute before the green scourge would take the series.

I’m trying to muster the hate for Dallas but cannot. Also they would seem to have the best chance against the East.

Typical Edmonton so far. Quick goal and then bad defense.  McDavid keeps hitting guys in the face with his stick.  This time they caught him.

No one know what goalie interference is. They should just go back to the old rule and say stay out of the crease. That was a close one to me because it looks like McJesus initiates contact himself with the goalie and then gets pushed more into him by Vancouver.

Looked to me like the Canucks goalie ran into him intentionally and then executed a one point dive...
