I'm not under any illusions here. His prospect savant page isn't great: https://prospectsavant.com/player/674841.

But his walk rate is fairly low, he doesn't give up a lot of homers, and he has a ground ball rate that is solid. Try him and get Parker into a bullpen role.

first start wasn't good, but he's probably #1. But Cornelio and Parker are on the roster, so you could see either of them getting a spot start, too. Parker had the best 1st start, and Cornelio struck out a bunch

I'll predict he gets a call up for next Monday's or Tuesday's start. The Nats are in that 17 game stretch, and Monday will be the 11th game in that stretch. He'd be on his normal 5 day rest. Waiting 'til Tuesday would give the whole rotation 2 turns with an extra day's rest. Sunday  would  be Mikolas's next turn, but I think the utility of extra days rest for the rotation will have them leave him in for one more turn.
