Hope to make it, but might be having a double-birthday party at my brother-in-law's house in Massachusetts. Timing depends on a special family friend who will be visiting the US.

IS the 9th a bad day? It kind of fit in our normal scheduling - after summer vacations, good weather day.  I'm not sure there's a good plan B in August.

It's about 4 weeks away, so post if you think you'll make it. Usually we meet up in the Loft. Folks grab space at the tables on the CF side, towards the outside (not the field side). If we are lucky, we smuggle in a banner and hang it, but the Nats aren't good with that. Our civil disobedience.

now that this is likely to be the day of Stras's retirement press conference, I'm assuming folks may try to pick up tickets. We will still plan on meeting at the CF Loft high top tables. I will try to bring a sign. If folks know they are going, post here.

I'll be sorry to miss it...for those who can, this is a time to meet the real live people of WNFF. Unfortunately, my baseball buddy, daughter Rachel, will be "on duty" at the annual Labor Day March in NYC. (So many union members want to go away on actual Labor Day that they schedule the parade a week later).

Just in case there's some rain, I'll figure out a plan B location with decent access to other beers. Maybe Plan B is the area next to Ben's on the LF line. There's a bar and bathrooms right there - 2 priorities. Any other spots feel free to suggest.

Turn out I'm guessing will be off with no Welches, Ali/ Frau, or Skippy, but it would still be nice to see folks.

Again, reminder - I've got a spare pair and a single available if folks want seats.
