Two runs ahead with two outs, 0-2 count, and nobody on base.  Harvey throws a fastball down the middle of the plate (1st mistake).

3-2 count to Soler.  Fastball in Soler's "happy zone" with two bases open.

The 0-2 pitch to Cooper was a splitter. Highlights the inexperience of the team. Cooper looked lost against the fastball. Was late on the second one. Should have gone up and out of the zone with a fastball again.

I would have walked Arraez. Dude hits everything, dont even give him a chance. Looked like Harvey was trying to induce weak contact with offspeed.

Sequencing to Soler was pretty terrible. Dude can only hit fastballs. He was a prime candidate for some curves. And yea, Harvey got screwed by the ump. But the point is we had an inexperienced catcher and an inexperienced reliever. Mistakes were made. Hopefully some learning has occurred.

Harvey threw everything in the lower half of the zone toward the middle of the plate. I'm not sure if it was him or the catcher, but a high fast ball would have been a nice change of pace. Instead, the Miami hitters were keyed in on low, middle of the zone, pitches.

Harvey said he missed his spots, he was supposed to be pitching inside to Soler and couldn't get the pitch inside. But then there's also this:

That’s a real bad miss by the ump.

I feel like the non-strike call altered that whole sequence. Just an awful miss. You can’t do that.
