Looking at it on gameday they called two pitches way outside strikes.  Cohen has obviously started making payments to the umps.

Can’t remember the last time we didn’t have a chance to win a game
Pittsburgh before the road trip? There was an ugly 4-1 game too on the road

Tonight was the perfect example of why you can't get rid of good late inning relievers. You need all you can get and stop using the ones who have become unreliable in multiple games now. Edwards has had control issues for a while and it's time to stop using him in big situations.

Tonight is a perfect example of why you trade them at theit highest value. He was one of this team's most reliable relivers last year. Now he fell off the cliff.

Trade Finnegan.

I don't think you trade a player in his prime who's always been consistent because he might not be good later.

They needed five innings out of the pen tonight when the starter only went four.  You have to use all the relievers you have or the few good ones will all be on the IL by June.  Every team has this issue nowadays with starters eating fewer and fewer innings.

I guess it would be better if the team was blown out a couple times a week so we could use the weaker relievers in those games!!
