They’ve got the Nats hitters on the scoreboard with the NYC skyline in the background.  And have a graphic of the Golden Gate Bridge where the SF Bay Bridge is.  Rough night for geography

How many high "strikes" has this umpire called just above the zone to both pitchers?

He isn’t consistent at all. Pitches way outside are strikes and some in the box are balls.

Really impressed by Irvin so far. Reminds me of JZ.

41 pitches after 3. Looking sharp with a little help from the umpire

I went to that stadium at Christmas 2012 after the Giants had won the World Series the previous October (and eliminated the Nats). The city was nice then. I need to go to a game there even though the city has become a toilet.

Garcia stinks in the field. It would be nice if they could give Irvin some help.

Umpire gave Peterson that one. Was a strike 3.

The first batter gets on because Garcia didn't make a play. The second batter gets on by a questionable umpire call. Irvin gets out of it.

Did that guy actually fake a bunt with two strikes and took the pitch down the middle.

I really hate this Giants catcher and his ridiculously overaffected pitch-framing, but I suppose this umpire has been rewarding him for it.

I'm watching the Giants telecast. They spend a lot of time showing what's going on in the stands. This one family has gotten 3 foul balls.

I get the feeling the Nats will still only have 5 runs when the 9th inning comes.

Yup
