.247 .296 .393 with 3 HRs so far. That's....respectable. And he can play defense.
He’s been better than expected defensively. He’s no Maikel Franco.
I like Jeimer, but he’s also on a $5m major league deal, Franco was brought in on a minor league deal with low expectations. Rizzo brought Jeimer in as deadline trade bait but if this team can finally stop going 1-2 every three games he’s not expensive to keep around.
Trade him before the slump!
He is the best third baseman in the NLMarlins, Yankees, Twins, Brewers, Mariners, and the Mets are all potential trade partners
Bye Bye Jeimer. You did everything we needed you to do.
Lefty version of Clippard
Writeup says he's wild, with an odd cross-fire delivery, lots of walks, but misses bats. Cubs have tried to straighten out the delivery. If they do, maybe he will be easier to hit.
Clip had control issues as a starter too. Make him a reliever have him and Cate hang out and exchange pitch grips.
