They could do so much better if they didn’t have to play against other major league teams so frequently

I suppose my guess of 162-0 won't pan out.

Maybe the goal will be to not lose 100+, so I'll go with an optimistic 63-99.

I predicted a run differential of -140.  They’re already -21.

I’m going to say 39-123

This is the worst baseball team I’ve seen in a long effin time. Not even the Os were this bad.

What’s hilarious is this might genuinely be one of  the worst and least talented teams of all time and they can’t pick inside the top 7 of the draft lol.

I just want to make sure I'm still eligible for the grand prize.

There's no minor league help on the way, either. The best close to the majors pieces are relievers (Cronin, Bryzcki, Ferrer) and the bullpen is arguably the one area that doesn't need help (ignoring Finnegan for now). Hassell, perhaps Alu or Downs, could  get onto the 26 man this year, especially if Garcia doesn't improve substantially. Other than that, we are talking about Henry being healthy and good when he's not thrown a competitive pitch yet after his surgery, some sort of things go perfect ascent for Rutledge, or a #4 starter like Irvin.

As for the veteran pick ups, the amount they can help is sort of capped. If Candy or Dickerson have decent years, the they will be flipped, so you aren't really going to get won loss help out of them.

57-105

I think I was over confident. This is a team so devoid of talent that I don't think half of our fielders would start for a good AAA team

What is the worst record in a 162 game season. I’m thinking we could set a new ominous record this year. I don’t believe I’ve bashed ownership ever but they are eroding the fan base and lessening the value of the teams asking price. This is a downward trajectory for the team as the franchise value decreases ownership will less likely spend money on player development and free agent acquisitions.

The 2003 Tigers went 43-119, that's the worst W-L record since they went to a 162 game season.

WRT to winning percentage, the 1916 Philadelphia Athletics went 36-117 for a .235 winning percentage.

The hot takes here are amazing.  It’s a bad team but no reason to expect historically bad.

Well, a 1-6 start doesn't bode well.
