Lamar tweets that he turned down 3 years with $133 million guaranteed.
If you have the "read between the lines" plug in for your twitter app, he tweeted "I'm an idiot."

He was responding to a reporter tweeting that he turned down 5/$200 million.

Aaron Rodgers situation getting weirder than a darkness retreat.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35858787/aaron-rodgers-gives-jets-wish-list-free-agents-sources-say

At least the Jets/Nets/Mets crowd has Cohen because there is no way this plays out like Rogers or the Jets are hoping

Marcus Mariota finally reunited with Chip Kelly in Philly. Oh you say Chip is gone?

Hurts extended for five years. Believe that kicks in after this season. Lots of guaranteed moola and a no trade clause.

Hurts is twice as good as Jones. So he should have gotten $80 million!

This contract is only slightly worse than Jones’s.   Both of those teams aren’t winning anything

VaRK vowed not to post until MP got another head coach job.

Matt Patricia.
Wait, did BB fire him? I missed that, thought they were besties.

He’s never posting then. Why did BB put him on the offensive side. Andy Reid did that once with an offensive line coach making him defensive coordinator. Didn’t work out either.

Matt Patricia started as a data guy (maybe data and personnel) who moved into on-field coaching after a low-level college career. BB assumed he was flexible enough to switch sides, especially after HC experience. It's not like changing an NFL running back into a D-line coach.

When speaking of Matt Patricia, one must always use Matt Patricia's name rather than a pronoun, because VaRK always commented on how the announcers always referred to Matt Patricia using Matt Patricia's full name.

Eagles move up a spot to get Jalen Carter. Just don’t let him get a drivers license. Or a car.

They also moved up in the 3rd round in a trade related to tampering for the Cards talking to Gannon before the Super Bowl. Good riddance to that clown.

that's the multi-million dollar question. The track record isn't good, but Bryce Young was pretty freaking amazing playing in the toughest conference in the NFL and setting school records for passing yards and TDs.

Worth a read: https://www.theringer.com/nfl-draft/2023/3/3/23623742/bryce-young-height-short-nfl-combine-outlier

Quote
Since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, 172 quarterbacks have started at least 50 games—only 11 of them were 6-foot or shorter. Among those players are Kyler Murray, Michael Vick, Russell Wilson, and Drew Brees. That’s not bad company to be in, but remember—these are the quarterbacks who hit, as they accumulated 50 or more starts over the course of their careers. If we instead look at just quarterbacks drafted since 1970, just 30 of the 522 quarterbacks selected (5.7 percent) have been 6 feet tall or shorter.

If we look at just picks in the first three rounds? Seven of 241 quarterbacks. And if we look just at Round 1? Three of 127: Vick, Murray, and Johnny Manziel.

The red dot below is Bryce Young.  Best case scenario is that he's Drew Brees, but Brees was one in a thousand.
