Eagles laying another turd.  And now AJ Brown hurt.

Looks like Hurts broke or dislocated a finger on his throwing hand.

Looks like they quit.  He shouldn’t have been playing.

It seems that the only two teams with realistic shots at the SB right now are Baltimore and SF.  The Lions and Cowboys could make things interesting. Maybe the Browns as well?

Great throw there for the TD!

What a bonehead play they’re throwing short of the end zone.

And somehow the Bills win. That sets up two W&M grads facing off in McDermott and Tomlin.

Strange way to end the regular season - with what was (effectively) a pre-season game, in all but name. I assume the Chargers rested Herbert in case he walks, during the off-season...And when Coach Reid said that this was a chance for fringe players to 'shine', I'm not sure that he meant them to say 'hey look - we can drop passes just as well as the Starters...'

Of course, I'll be getting 'Mahomes, who?...' all week, from a certain puss.  ;)  Actually, I was quietly rooting for the Titans, as I hoped that they could end the season with a win, just to make someone happy...(he's delighted...)  :D

Looks like the EPL club model (Head Coach plus a 'Director Of Football [soccer]') could be spreading. The future for Belichick and Vrabel?... ;)

Belichick is sticking around for more wins. If Vrabel is Head Coach and Belichick is Strategic Director or General Manager, then he doesn't get credit for coaching wins. Jonathan Kraft is President of the Pats, so I don't see that title going to BB.

Most likely, they lose Mayo if they go with Vrabel as HC. Kraft wants Vrabel, but I buy that he kind of fears having another of his legends moving on to, say, Sand Diego, and succeeding.

Ian Rappaport (NFL Network "Insider") is saying that the Titans owner didn't appreciate Vrabel's induction into the Pats hall of fame and his not dispelling interest in the Pats job.'

Quote
“This was Amy Adams Strunk making the decision based on a lot of things — including what happened when he went to New England for the Hall of Fame thing, including not dispelling rumors in-house that he was going to go to the Patriots’ coach — there was a lot there,” said Rapoport. “She clearly made the decision that she wanted to move on in the best interest of the organization.”

Great excuse for firing one of the better coaches in football. Maybe fire the GM who can’t find a qb instead?

you beat me to it. Belichick and Saban are Lennon and McCartney, and Carroll is the Harrison. Tomlin would be the Ringo, but he's not leaving after the strong finish.

The most successful college coach, the most successful NFL coach, and the coach with the most success in both leagues all retiring the same year

Wasn't the Browns defense supposed to be elite? Flacco isn't giving up all these scores.
