Just discovered that Pat Goss of Goss's Garage / Motorweek fame died last year at 80 years of age. I've been watching Motorweek for decades.

Years ago he had a show on 106.7 on weekend mornings and also on News Channel 8, and took calls from listeners for hours. He could be very cranky at times and would get on callers who clearly didn't know what they were talking about.

Don Leppert, 91. Homered on the first pitch thrown to him the majors. Catcher briefly with the expansion Senators:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Leppert

“April 11, 1963, he hit three homers in his third game in the American League: a solo shot off Ike Delock in the fourth inning, followed by a three-run blast and another solo homer, both off relief pitcher Chet Nichols Jr., as the Senators beat the Boston Red Sox, 8–0, at DC Stadium. To top it all off, Leppert caught Tom Cheney's one-hit shutout, with the Washington pitcher striking out ten Red Sox.“

Possibly, but you might be thinking of Geraldo Rivera. Had his nose broken via NeoNazi propelled chair.

Also, a few days age, Dick Groat, 1960 NL MVP, at age 92. Since he was a Pirate for 9 seasons, maybe they mentioned his passing during one of the games this weekend, but if so I missed it.

I guess it's sundown for him.

Should be cremated and have his ashes spread over Lake Superior near the Edmund Fitzgerald. I don't know if he expressed that, but if someone could read his mind.

I thought the ashes should be spread on a carefree highway.
