Gary Rossington, last surviving original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Somehow made it to 71.

Saw them in 2019. Was hoping to see them again.

So, he was in his early 20s when they broke?  I figured he was older because they had played a ton before they were picked up.  Ronny I think was older.

Also, this is the whole original crew (minus Ed King, with Steve Gaines).  Interesting to watch Gaines play. Rossington and Collins never improvised on their early solos. Gaines clearly experimenting with this version of his solos. He was supposed to be the best musician (Billy Powell also was a real talent). 

Oh, he wasn't an original, but Artemus Pyle is still kicking.
