Sweet swing from Cruz
any sort of hitting success for this guy is newsworthy because he's only highly rated because of his D.  I assume he will be assigned to Frederick rather than repeating the florida complex league. I'd like to see if he can keep a K% below 20%

Had no idea who he was.  Is there a prospect thread on him?

He was safe. Would have been challenged and overturned in regular season.

I’ve no idea why Smith cut that off. Gore looks terrible.

Gore coming back down to earth
Yeah. He looked uncomfortable. 26 pitches and only 13 strikes. Everything hit hard. Against the Cards B team. If they had another starter he would probably be better off in Rochester.

In my last OOTP save he won eight GGs.

Was basically pitching against a Triple A lineup today also.

Going to be a long year for the starters. Three young guys trying to figure it out.  Corbin who sucks. And a veteran who hasn’t started many games the past two years.  And not much in reserve in Rochester. They need to be scouting the waiver wires the next couple weeks to add some veteran depth.

Rough outing for Gore, but on the bright side Nats hitters drew six walks today.

Seven walks drawn today after six yesterday, will see if we can break out of dead last in MLB this Spring.  Wonder if Darnell Coles is reading my posts.
