I was thinking about the Dodgers last night. Players leave and the Dodgers have two more step forward to replace him. Maybe a glut of good players means the Dodgers just over-power anyone they face. Out of curiosity, I stepped through the Dodgers season-by-season and could not find that they ever had to re-build, at least from 1947 onward. A couple times they finished a little under .500 and bounced up to become a 90-win team.

Wow. Here's hoping the Nats can do that.

The Dodgers are the Rays with money.
