ESPN's Kiley McDaniel has the Pirates taking Max Clark #1 overall with the Nats taking Crews.

If this were last year’s draft, he’d probably have been in the mix to be the first overall pick; I’d rank him over Druw Jones, who was first on my board last year, as Clark is a better hitter and runner who doesn’t have Jones’ present power. I doubt he gets any further than the fifth pick this year, as he’s got the three college titans to contend with (LSU’s Dylan Crews and Paul Skenes, plus Florida’s Wyatt Langford) as well as North Carolina prep outfielder Walker Jenkins, who’s less tooled-up but is still a premium athlete who has more raw and game power right now. That said, any team that takes Clark in the top five is getting a potential superstar, and it wouldn’t surprise me if in five years he ends up the best player.
