Skenes hits too. Is there a little Ohtani / McKay (to give the whole scale) in him, or is the hitting not really figure into his evaluation now? If the hitting is 1st round worthy, then doesn't that cut down on the risk of drafting a pitcher that high? Or should we just be saying, f'it, Langford or Crews if one is on the board?
I think teams will still largely shy away from true two way sp-hitters. The future is players who profile as better hitters who have a big fastball and one breaker and can be a reliever as well as hit (what caglianone will likely be)
