In a perfect scenario we draft Dollander (assuming the Pirates take Crews) and given his age, he's goes down the Strasburg path and arrives here as a 21 year-old next season (he turns 22 in October). More likely, that sets up the 2023 rotation as Cavalli, Dollander, Gray, Gore, and Corbin unfortunately.
Based on potential, that's a pretty decent rotation.
I think you're off a year. Even if Dollander is drafted by the Nats, he's not reaching the bigs as a 21 year old and joining the rotation in '23. Strasburg didn't even come up the year he was drafted. Best case is, he gets a couple starts after being drafted(I'm sure there will be inning restrictions as he approaches 100ip for thr first time) and then comes up in '24.
