They got a goal and close to a couple others.  Brazil obviously in cruise control.

Morocco eliminates Spain on penalty kicks, 3-0!  Spain had just dominated the whole game in time of possession and shots on goal.  Great to see another non-European team advance, especially how well Morocco played defense.  I think they still haven't allowed a single goal.

I guess the first big upset of the knockout rounds?  The coffee shop at Federal Triangle I think is Algerian but the owner and staff were elated right after the game.

Well Brazil is not European. Neither is Argentina.  Although the folks there think they are.

So, it's being reported that there has been little trouble at the WC. This is being ascribed to an absense of alcohol. Well, I never....  :lol:  ;)

And happy they missed Brazil. I don’t think anyone else here roots for them but I will. Because of Messi. And I have been to Argentina a few times and enjoyed it.

ESPN is reporting that he wrote he was sick with a bad cold that turned to bronchitis that he went to the hospital for and was given antibiotics.

He collapsed in the US media are during the game today.   

It looks 99% suspicious but with a real 1% that it wasn't I guess.   This absolutely should have never been in Qatar.
