That’s scary!

Villanova is out.  Maybe the NIT for them?  Tough year for the new head coach. It almost never works following a legend. DePaul looked like it had Xavier beat and then collapsed at the end. Good final group with all Top 25 teams. ACC final four looks good also.

Maryland moves on beating Minnesota. That program has really fallen on hard times in recent years.

For whatever reason the FoxSports and NBC Sports apps don’t know that I went to the Basic tv channel package. Maybe comcast way of thanking me for years of being a loyal customer. LOL.

looks like I was off one year. They won the BE tournament in 1980, the second year, with Rautins and Schayes, but were passed over for the NCAA.

The first year was the Bouie and Louie show. Schayes wasn’t much of a factor until Roosevelt Bouie departed.

Who knew that the Big East player of the year, Tyler Kolak, started his career at George Mason?

VT could have used Alleyme this year. Did not realize he was on UConn.

Rick Pitino to St. John’s?

James Jones was up for it a few years ago.

Good for him staying at Yale. His brother coaches somewhere also?

Lost track of what Pitino to lose the job at Louisville. As I recall it involved sex.

Marquette beats UConn by two. Fun game to watch. Watching the end of Penn State and Northwestern. PSU just took a foul on the floor to prevent a tying three attempt. Northwestern makes the first and gets the rebound but shoots an awkward shot when he had like another second. Just missed. PSU seems to be in fhe NCAA. Maryland and Indiana next.

Yale player tears his shirt in the opening minute. Can’t Yale afford higher quality jerseys with all that endowment money?

strategy. Confused Cornell 's defense so Mahoney could get open for 3s.

I watched the end. They got a break with13 seconds left, down 1, when Norfolk failed at an inbounds pass. Howard got the ball in, and the guy driving was swallowed up and fouled with 6 or so seconds left. Makes his free throws, and Norfolk can't get a shot off.

Keep Bez out of foul trouble. Picks up a ton of charges. Get Poulikidas and Mahoney the ball on the wings.

The semis were not that great either if I remember correctly.

Four other finals today after the Ivy game. Penn State has made a nice run.

they were not a good free throw shooting team this year and last.

Princeton made the plays down the stretch yesterday and today.  13 or 14 seed? Could be a tough out for someone in first round if they are hitting their threes.

No Philly teams in the Dance for first time since 1978.

For the DMV:  UMD, UVA and Howard. Maybe VCU.

Very pleased to see Jelani Williams make it with Howard. He had three major knee surgeries and then finally played last year at Penn. DC kid.
