Yeah, now that they signed an OF, this is the really obvious pick.  They wasted too much time before converting to him to a reliever but the stuff really works out of the pen.  It's pretty rare that you can get a Rule 5 guy who is 23, has good stuff, and has actually produced in the upper minors.

As a massive minor league dork, I love the Rule 5 draft, but as a massive minor league dork I love the minor league phase even more.

They had such a great pen they could afford to see if he could be a starter.

I really want Ryan Noda. He screams Morse or Meneses. Every level he's played at, he rakes. And he's MLB ready. He'd be an excellent platoon option for LF or 1B
