I have more than a feeling the Panthers left Boston feelin’ satisfied.

The real surprising thing is that it is not like Florida just stole it with a hot goalie. They went toe to toe with Boston and were the better team much of the time. Age maybe of some Boston players?

Greatest regular season in nhl history ends in Boston blowing a 3-1 lead in games and losing to a team that barely made the playoffs.

it was mentioned in the broadcast that the Panthers were one of two teams to beat the Bruins twice in the regular season. Maybe it's just a tough matchup for some reason. As for the Bs being old, both Bergeron and Krejci are likely to retire. Krejci only came back for one more go when Bergeron came back

Mackinnon has had so many chances and just can’t score.

Mackinnon finally gets one to go and cancelled for offsides.

And down goes Colorado.

It’s interesting that Seattle and Florida will have only one day off and start their series on Tuesday. Whereas the Edmonton/Vegas series starts Wednesday so those teams will be well rested.

One more game seven tonight. Bring it on. Will Aaron Rogers show up in Newark?

As one of the reporters pointed out, Florida did win the Presidents' Trophy last season, so it’s not like they totally came out of nowhere despite being the second wild-card this year. (I’ll admit I had forgotten that until he mentioned it—and I had forgotten it earlier this year until I saw the replica banner at the Panthers' practice facility—our nephew drives the Zamboni there—and then I forgot about it again.)

Yea. They had quite the drop off this year. Don’t follow close enough to know why. Bob is playing well for the most part. Can’t see them beating Toronto. So you know what that means….

They won the President's trophy last year. The thing with them that should have been surprising was that they almost didn't make the playoffs.

And now the Kraken try and pull the upset.  Four goals in the first period.

How long have the Kraken been in the league?  IIRC, the Golden Knights were instant successes and went deep in the playoffs (picture a disappointed Bryce and his wife in LVGK sweaters), but the Kraken took a slower route.  Was this the first year they had significant success? how'd they do it?

It seems to me they did it the same way Vegas did. They paid a huge buy-in fee, got a massively generous expansion draft and helps, and went from there.
