Probably since the Caps dominated the regular season (121 points) in 2009–2010 and then lost to 8th-seeded Montreal in the first round after blowing a three games to one lead.
I think Tampa did that a few years ago. Against Columbus.

That was arguably worse than either the Caps or, if the Bruins lose, the Bruins—Tampa got swept. I forgot about that one.

The thing the might put the Bruins in a class by themselves is their 65 regular season wins and record points. Arguably one of the most complete teams ever. Ullmark is a likely Vezina winner and he's given up 10 goals in the past 2 games (we won't count the empty netter).

I know Marchand draws grudging complements at most when he's not playing like a rat, but you'd expect Bergeron to pack it in and I don't think Kejci is long for the NHL, either. Last rodeo for those guys together.

Have to love the Leafs. Up 1-0 and the defense leaves two guys open in front of the net. LOL.

Oilers blow a 3-1 lead. Now 3-3 in the second.

Oilers vs Knights.  Should be a good series

Yes. Missed the last period last night because the NHL put three games on Saturday night rather than spreading them out. Well done Bettman.

Guy who has come up big for Edmonton is Kostin. Have never heard of him.

Note to Knights. You may want to avoid penalties.

May just be some gamesmanship, but Montgomery seems open to starting Swayman rather than Ullmark in game 7. Also, looks like Grzelyck and Frederic may be in and foligno and Clifton out.

Montgomery is going to be second guessed for a long time for not starting Swayman in game 4. Ullmark's had horrible games 5 & 6.

We can see why he didn’t play earlier in the series. The first goal was bad. Second one not much. Lindholm giveaway and then set the screen.

Boston got a goal but Florida is dominating this game, lots of good scoring chances in the last five minutes.

Was going to say both Bergeron and Krejci looked like they really weren't ready for the series.

Should have had that shorthanded goal.

Still bizarre hearing them say "Orlov"

I think Boston takes it. Seems the way the games have been going the team dominating loses.
