Helos.
Then he should at least be willing to drive the bullpen cart.

All them fancy flyboys know how to do is go up and down. Kinda lost in two dimensions.

Gavin Lux carted off the field with a leg injury. No further details. Miguel Rojas is his backup.  They will miss Trea.

ACL. Out for the year.

Looked like this year there was a real path to full time for him.  Tough break (tear).

Well played by Dombrowski.  If not on the opening day roster he gets up to a 30 day minor league rehab.  Only needs to spend 90 days on the active roster to keep him.

Kind of feel like that is the best option for him. I don't see how he goes from nothing for years to MLB level.

Dodgers starter Tony Gonsolin rolled his ankle and is likely going to start the year on the DL.

Between a relatively quiet offseason where they lost Turner in free agency and then Lux and Gonsolin getting hurt, the Dodgers don't seem nearly as scary for once.

I'm sure they'll prove me wrong and still win 100 games this year.

He's less important on the field, but losing Justin Turner probably shakes things up too.  Seemed to have a leadership role and had been around for the whole Roberts era.

Haha I completely forgot Justin Turner signed with the Red Sox. Yeah, it will be interesting to see how the NL West plays out this year. Padres have to be the clear favorites at this point.

Their #3 starter is Thor, and their #2 is an aging Kershaw.

So they'll only win the West by 5 instead of 20 this year. :)

With 5 starters who would be the Nats' clear #1.

more likely that a Nats starter gets busted for using the clear than becomes a clear #1. :)

:woop: The next Scherzer, as soon as we stop paying Corbin and Stras.

Does Boras speak to the dead? Because didn't he talk direct to Ted?

Did not realize that due to hurricane damage the Rays are playing all their home spring games at Tropicana Field.

The Brewers have informed infielder Keston Hiura he will not be on the active roster, general manager Matt Arnold told reporters (including Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel). Since he’s out of minor league option years, Milwaukee will have to trade him or place him on waivers in the next few days.

Arnold also indicated that outfielder Tyler Naquin — who is in camp on a minor league deal — won’t be on the team either (relayed by Adam McCalvy of MLB.com). Naquin will have a chance to opt out of his contract and retest free agency if he doesn’t plan to accept an assignment to Triple-A Nashville.

This also helps Luke Voit's chances of making the team
