Trying to get younger.  It makes sense in the long run.  Sandin has been starting to show some promise and he's probably about as worthwhile as anyone they would have taken with Boston's pick.  I don't mind it.

Yeah, I'm all for keeping Ovi but this is the one side effect I'm not too thrilled with.  Can't trade someone like Oshie because we gotta keep the core around AO.  Gonna be a slow rebuild, unfortunately.

I guess I’m just wondering why Toronto would want to give up on a good defenseman when they have problems in that area.  Especially for one who has deficiencies. I guess they are like f*** the defense we will just outscire everyone. And take a flyer on a late first round pick.
