For those of you who have watched the standard game feed possibly a bit more than once, this was worth a look. It’s the Dominican Republic feed from the seventh-inning on, and it’s got different cuts of the action throughout. One of the coolest things amongst many that jumped out was Parra appearing to hop through the dugout when Altuve struck out for the second out in the ninth inning (1:35:15 mark)

Fedde had arm problems this year.

Right, and he was so outstanding when he didn't have arm problems.

His stats were decent in 2019 and 2020.  In any event get used to seeing him as he is cheap and therefore will return.

Yea. You need another starting pitcher and an OF to be a .500 team.

One with logic. The Nats arent going to outbid. Only reason he comes here is if he is too broken and knows it.

There won't, and shouldn't, be any more signings. The ownership issue wont be resolved in time.

Only issue is if Rizzo is going to be allowed to spend on frontnoffice/coaching staff.

There will be signings.  Just cheap ones.

the thought was that he's not going to get the contract he wants so he will take a 1 year contract for what remains on the market.  If he's there in February, and a sale is through or close enough, I could see a minimal bid.  1 year, $12 million might get it done, if the guesstimates here are right:https://blogs.fangraphs.com/2023-top-50-free-agents/.  That's less than what they guaranteed Nelson Cruz.  But I suspect the priority will be to bring in a guy who they can write in for 150 innings.

unsurprisingly the Nats have declined the mutual option on Nelson Cruz.

He will avoid this franchise like the plague. If he comes here, his career is done and he wants one more payday.

He'll take slightly less to go to a decent franchise
