I thought he was channeling John Rocker

Bob & Franny are so done with 2022

This is unsightly

Just trying to one-up the Reds.  Need another touchdown to get there.

Ah - I get it. The plan is to give up a three-run scorer each innings... ;)

Good for Pineda in an otherwise forgettable game.

So, who finished with a worse era, fedde or gray? I assume he didn't catch Corbin

This is embarrassing for the fans who actually post on here or just read it. The hours we spent watching and contributing to this site are days that we will never get back in our life times.

Also days that were spent doing something more pleasurable and worthwhile than the quotidien drudgery we do to mortgage our souls for a mess of pottage.  And Ramirez is my favourite short guy in besbol.

Vogelbach's strike zone is almost as wide as he is.

Corbin - 6.31
Fedde - 5.81 (5.27 when he entered the game)

To be able to move the dial like that on the last day after 26 (?) starts is an achievement in itself

Call really should have run into an out at third there to end the season.  It would have been fitting.

Actually, a tapper comebacker by a dude who was cut by a playoff team, following another at-bat by a dude who was cut by a playoff team, leaving on deck a guy who started the season in Wilmington, is also a pretty fitting way to end.   Not a great season, but still beats the offseason.

And so our 2022 Nationals leap into joint 5th spot for most single-season losses since 2010...

Baltimore  115  (2018)
Detroit       114  (2019)
Houston     111  (2013)
Arizona / Baltimore  110  (2021)
Houston  107  (2012)   Nationals (2022)

Mets booth crew - 'I know - lets nominate Vogelbach as the Pinch Runner?...'  So cruel... :hysterical:
