What's the over/under on Corbin lowering his ERA under 6 to end the season?

It feels like that was the entire purpose of having him pitch today: skip his prior start so he can't lose 20, then give him one start to get his ERA under 6.  Obviously didn't work.

Without thinking hard, they are

- Miami
- Tampa
- Milwaukee
- Houston
- Arizona
- Dallas ("Texas Rangers", or, as Shirley Povich put it in 1971, "Some jerkwater town between Dallas and Fort Worth")

Any others?

Toronto and Seattle.

You could get pretty close on the rain issue, though, because with those eight plus SD, SF, Oakland, and the two LA-area stadiums (all of which almost never see appreciable rain until November, especially at night), you're nearly at half.

he was bad, but the conditions stunk. Both for him and Wheeler, sure, but the last big flurry, cesar looked like Bambi on ice going after the bases clearing single

Somehow Wheeler was able to pitch through the conditions. Amazing how one of the better starters in the league was able to and maybe the worst was not.

This dismal wet fart was a fitting end.  Being feasted upon in Citi for the next few days somehow doesn't even count.

He didn’t deserve the noble purpose. He should have pitched the skipped start and lived in ignominy as a twenty game loser.

Daughter and I will say "farewell" to the '22 Nats this Tuesday. Looks like steady rain and mid-50d high, low of about 48. Reminds me of the 18-inning playoff game in 2014. THIS time we will dress for cold weather.

Well, that was underwhelming...However, to be fair, how many of us (just a few weeks back) would have given our 2022 Nationals any chance of even getting this close to avoiding their unwanted landmark?...

The rain it raineth on the Just
And also on the Unjust fellah
But mainly on the Just
Because the Unjust steals the Just's umbrella... ;)
