Jesus.  You could combine those two starting lineups, take the best guy at every position, and still end up with a 100-loss team.

I’d rather have Dane Dunning.  LOL.

Actually Fedde has not been consistently awful all year.

Had a nice May.

He's 29 now. The chances of him finding consistency (particularly here) are pretty remote

Did I miss Yadiel Hernandez's obituary?

Like, is he even still on the team?

Oh, apparently not.  Man, when you miss a dude going on the 60, he must have been an important piece.

Same reaction. When I heard he was moved to the 60-day, I realized I was not even aware he was on the IL to begin with.

Also, Dave - I'm not sure the first sentence of the GDT is right.  I have a pretty distinct memory of the A's at RFK against Loaiza. Now I have to dig through old schedules to see if I'm nuts.

EDIT:  Yep, here you go: https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/WAS/WAS200506080.shtml

Looks like it was the second of a 3-game series at RFK in 2005.

You're right. June 2005 in RFK. This is the first visit to Nats Park.

No idea why I remember that game.  Bobby Crosby hit a line-drive homer to left-center.

I remember that - and then Loaiza went to Oakland and proceeded to get a DWI in a Ferrari before the orange jumpsuit and deportation.  He self-Pattersoned.
