Only one run in the first. Small victories.

Corbin is consistent. Home run for the kid, Fairchild.

Corbin is just not fixable. I would rather see Cory Abbott start than him. He is well onto his way for 20+ losses and the Nats 44th consecutive game without a starter recording a W.

I think Kolko, based on his experience as a sideline reporter, would be more comfortable as a color commentator than a play-by-play guy. I know the usual role is for the ex-Major Leaguer to be the color guy, but Franny seems like he would do as well or better at play-by-play.

I was just thinking about Abbott before the game started. Maybe the Nats have kept Corbin in the rotation to ensure the team finishes dead last and gets one of the three best chances in the draft lottery.

I don't think there is any question of where we finish this season.

Friedl with a nice drag bunt. The Mantle bunt. And Corbin gets him.

When Davey pulls Corbin, let him forget Cishek and McGee.

I just tuned in and it appears I'm in an alternate universe in which Corbin pitched six innings with good results?

Wobbly first two innings, and then OK.

Maybe he will end the Carter Kieboom experiment.

I remember Kieboom early in 2019, trying to replace Trea at SS.
