Too much of a coincidence. Question is, who do they turn to when the next arm goes down
Apparently Cavalli has to wait until the 20th to come up?
It's now been 7 days since his last starts, in which he only made it 3 innings
3.2 IP, 7 ER. 2 hits, 2 walks, to strikeouts. 86 pitches. On the one hand, he threw 86 pitched. On the other hand ... ugh
And Sykora is hurting
2 years / 171 days is what i saw on x if he stays up the rest of the year.
I mean, what's he going to say in an arb hearing to justify getting any more than MLB minimum?
Bring him up. Enough of this garbage rotation, Gore to Gore to Gore.
I think someone said we need to wait until at least the 20th to avoid something or other...
That Super Two stuff is baloney. Foolish. The pitching is dead. Put Lord into the rotation, bring up Cavalli, and send Parker someplace to learn to pitch. Parker had a dismal minor league record. He is here by accident plus hope. Find a few more veteran relievers, guys like Chafin or Old Luis Garcia. And find a manager to scare the young players awake.
