I think he starts tomorrow night against Erie. Two starts and 9 IP in his rehabs. Three hits. no runs. So far, so good.

threw five innings last night. Next start would likely be Tuesday or Wednesday

He's on a rehab assignment, so he's only got 30 days from when it started (April 15). I don't see why they couldn't option him after that, but it would burn the option year.

If we can, post the number of pitches he's up to as well as innings. If this guy is back to 70+, then he's pretty close.

pretty close, not all the way there.

Why pretty close is good is that it's not August or All Star break as people had talked about. Mid-May may be possible

Curious...how much would they increase pitch counts with each outing?

With Soroka, I think his last outing was 78 pitches and they are saying they want 90+. So maybe 10-15 per start.

Ah, maybe! I had assumed that vanished because he already went on a rehab assignment last year, but I guess if they can get it approved, no reason not to.
