2023 Schedule
« Topic Start: August 24, 2022, 01:37:44 PM »
The new schedule is out.

The ticket group I'm in is looking for new members. We sit ten rows behind Davey Martinez. Great spot to watch the Nats set the record for biggest single season increase in wins.

I very much prefer the balanced schedule. As it is now there are no special games anymore for example when the Yankees and Red Sox play because they face each other 19 times.

Where are your seats once he's gone?

I've given up, Martinez will break Connie Mack's 50 seasons record.

so, I guess every NL team gets one Red Sox or NYY series so their fans can complain about the northeast teams showing up and selling out the place with fans of the home team's opponents.  Looking forward to the mid-week August series :) I hear Washington Aquaduct and Sewer Authority is planning on some special overflows into the Anacostia just to make it look like the Charles.

I’ll bet I can get in cheap for that series in Kansas City…

I'm confused.  Those appear to show major league teams as opponents.

Should allow for at least 70 wins

Are the Red Sox and Yankees playing 13 separate 1-game sets, with each game on Sunday Night Baseball?  Because otherwise ESPN is going to throw a fit.

They are spreading the wealth.  Red Sox - Cubs, Yankees - Dodgers, St Louis intersquad, Nats - Os from Williamsport, all the games folks want to watch.

But do they still get to show the ARod-Arroyo slap each weekend?

I prefer the Varitek mitt in his face, or even Pedro throwing Zimmer to the ground.

The Nats just announced their spring schedule and there is no final game at Nats Park listed, at least as of now. So with the LLWS game at a neutral site the team has 80 home games scheduled. But they are charging for 82 games if you buy a season ticket plan. I'm wondering for full season plan holders, are they charging for 82 games as part of the renewal packages?

Anyone bursting with confidence that the response will be timely, adequate, and SPH-friendly?

I can't imagine forking over $20k to watch that shower of crap next year.  Hell, I can't imagine forking over 1% of that for the privilege.

so that's $120 a game per seat. Tickets for tonight's game in that section are going for between $27 and $60 right now on Stubhub (without fees).

Terraclub seats, which include food and drink, are selling for $176

Small nic picky point but if I'm going to spend over $19,600 dollars for tickets I would be aggravated they charged me a handling fee.

If folks are coming to spring training next year they might want to think about combining it with the World Baseball Classic.  Pool D games are in Miami as well as half the quarterfinals and the semifinals and finals.

Did anyone do the Select a Seat upgrade today? I'm no longer a primary plan holder so I didn't have access but I heard that there were lots of good seats available. Our group moved a few rows down. We were in the same seats for about seven years, through 2019, but have now upgraded three years in a row. Seems like a good number of long time plan groups have given up their tickets.

I had a shot but there is zero interest in my group.  We are in the last row of 208, mid-row, with only the WaPo / law firm suite behind us.  Not having folks behind us and being under cover is a huge bonus.
