Ah, but maybe not in Huntsville (central time).  I don't think there's Publix in San Diego, but there's one right down the road from the Trash Pandas' stadium.  Trash Pandas sherbet night!
Publix is a Florida-based company with stores only in the Southeast US.

I used to be a Publix produce clerk.

Pretty much.  These capture the look of viagra-filled pinatas in Tijuana perhaps.

:hysterical:  I think I might have seen something like that in Tijuana, but to be honest I was so drunk that I don't remember re-entering the US that day.  I have fuzzy memories of stray dogs and very cheap food.  This all occurred before about 3 pm, also.  Not my best day.

I'm well aware of that (hence knowing there's not one in San Diego), having been to a Publix around four hours ago.  Great staff across the board at all locations I've ever visited though, so I can infer you're a pretty nice dude.  I mention the one in Madison, AL (in the southeast, despite being on central time) because I've been in it within the past month.

We have three Publix here in within a couple miles in the swanky southeast section of Orlando.  No other alternatives other than the Bravo Latino market and Sams.  Kind of annoying.

But if I were going to join one of those weird brand-obsessed cults, it would be Publix.  They're legitimately really good stores compared to...well, the P Street Whole Foods, for example.

I'm just used to a variety of grocery stores.  In Cincy we had a Whole Foods and a couple Krogers.  In Myrtle Beach it was Kroger and Food Lion and then Publix opened.  In NOVA, Safeway and Giant and Harris Teeter.

There was a Winn Dixie and a Piggly Wiggly nearby when I was growing up, but the local Publix was closer to the heart, probably in part due to church ties. Publix was close to the SBC and my father was a Baptist minister.

I also got the first album I ever owned at Publix, part of a classical music promotion in the store. Beethoven's 6th Symphony. I was five, I think.

The real fault lines in this country are supermarket loyalties...don't try to argue with a Wegman's fan.

Snell hit 97 whern he struck out Robles?? JFC

Just wait until you move somewhere that has Food City.  They don't obfuscate what their line of business is!

Well, Snell's thrown 54 pitches, so he's probably gassed.

It was a bad call.  Even for Laz Diaz. Ted Williams would have been offended too.

Snell is just so ugly.  Can’t stand to look at him.  Let’s knock him out.

In Columbia we had a Krogers, a Publix, a Food Lion, an IGA, a Bi-Lo, and at least one or two others I can't remember.

There are a growing number of Lidl and Aldi stores here now, but when I lived in Germany, those were among the last chains I would shop at.

He does have the look of a guy who holds up a Taco Bell to pay off his dealer.

All of those pikers need to step aside when Carrefour starts opening stores here.

Whoah, Nats take the lead

For groceries, I probably went to a Cora or an Intermarché or a Bricomarché more often than a Carrefour. I got a jacket at a Carrefour once, though.

I’d like to see one of these open here: https://www.elcorteingles.com/

We went to the one in Barcelona. Grocery store in the basement, about 8 story department store on top of it, and an incredible food court on the top.

We went to several Carrefours in South America on an audit of COLA allowances. Nice places.  We got thrown out of a couple because we were not buying anything.
