I hate to say it, but I think this is absolutely wrong.  This may turn out to be a spectacular find for the brain trust.  More or less, this guy got buried behind Freddy Freeman and Rhys Hoskins, went abroad in late prospect years, then came back to be buried behind Dalbec/Schwarber with Triston Casas breathing down his neck.  Too old to be a hot prospect, so they took a shot at him to round out our non-competitive high level minors, and he clicked big time.

This is bunk. Joey is Mr. August. I hope he is Mr. September, too. In Joey's first game, Keith Hernandez took a liking to him ("Joes Meneses, the Mets' Nemesis") although the Mets won that game. Can't wait to hear what Keith says tonight. Maybe with a little NY push other baseball writers will learn?
