I imagine that most prospect rankings will have him outside the top 100 going into next season.
Hassell will push Alex Call to 5th OF by the All-Star break.
In late September, Robert Hassell III opened the glass door of his family’s Nashville home with a familiar itch. He had just completed a season his highest level yet, Class AAA Rochester, but he closed the year in a slump after yet another frustrating hand injury. This time, it was a right wrist sprain with a small carpal boss fracture, which sidelined him for two months before an August return.

The most important change, though, has been in the mechanics of Hassell’s swing. While the young outfielder has always hit the ball effectively to the opposite field, he was rarely, if ever, pulling the ball in the air — a batted ball event generally considered the most valuable in baseball. Rochester hitting coach Brian Daubach said coaches worked with Hassell on fixing his stride direction and not blocking himself off with his shoulder on inside pitches. These are changes that — surprise — are easier to refine in a week of dry swings than they are in a post-injury malaise against the toughest pitching he has faced.According to the website TruMedia, across 320 minor league at-bats, a pulled flyball or line drive resulted from 6.3 percent of Hassell’s at-bats. In the Fall League, it was 16.4 percent.
I wonder if they'd consider moving Wood to 1B to make room for Hassell?
