I think people didn't know how good Canha was because he played for Oakland, or were blinded by the reflection from the pastiest skin in the majors.  To be fair, Oakland didn't know how good he was either.  I remember seeing him in Nashville in 2017 or so and wondering why he was there.  He was clearly better than most of the dreck Oakland had in the major league outfield then.

Good tag too.  Throw was looking like an in-between hop on the way in and Ruiz took care of it and made the tag blind.

It's weird what happens when two actual major-league caliber players combine to play baseball.
