Nationals v Cardinals Game 2
« Topic Start: July 30, 2022, 06:03:05 PM »
I'm sure DIF will set this up properly, but just to get it out of the way early...

We hope today's result will leave us feline good, and purring with contentment. Just a shame that the Nats won't let you take meow to the ball game - although a win would be the cat's pyjamas (even if it's a bottom of the 9th walk-off, so we win by a whisker...).

Phew - that's better. Now, back to the ballgame... ;)

Dang apparently none of the food places in the park takes cash anymore.  How out of touch have I been.

The vendors still come around with the beer and stuff right?

There actually WAS a thing where you can exchange cash for food sta- I mean “Nats Bucks” to spend in the stadium so crisis averted.

Now I know better for when I come back in September on my birthday. 😂😂😂

Ordering food on your phone and picking it up when they text you that it’s ready is one of the great advances in ballpark experience.

It kinda also sounds like a model of car from the 1930s or 1940s.

We are going to cut Cruz if he’s not traded, right?   No reason for this guy to continue to get at bats

Was a little off the end of the bat so it didn't sound great, but he did get a bunch of it.  The outfielder didn't seem to have much doubt as to where it was going.

Who is this asshat analyst on the Fox broadcast who keeps quoting peripheral stats like they matter more than actually getting results?

You could have stopped at "Fox broadcast" and I would have guessed Tom Verducci.

From what I've seen on MLB Network, he is rather addicted to the sound of his own voice and the superiority of his opinions.
