I think you gotta have a conversation with Corbin about a move to the pen in the offseason. His first time through the order he is pretty good. With one inning of work at a time, maybe he bumps up the velo.

Maybe if he has some success, you can eat some salary and trade him an next year's deadline.

When was the last time, if ever, the Diamondbacks had a no hitter?

Last year, although I'll admit I didn't remember it.

And this was a team that had the cartoon-stats version of Randy Johnson, so "never" wasn't likely to be on the table.

Somewhere, FP is nursing a drink and mumbling to himself.

How about try it right now so that he can be out of our hair in less than two weeks?  He can pitch one or two innings on July 27, 29, and 31.

Some college teams have a human victory cigar who comes in when the game is decided, and his presence riles up the fans who sniff imminent triumph.

Besides "Jordan Weems," what do you call the guy who does that for losses?  The Human Punt?  The Human Concession Speech?

The Nats are the only team in MLB that practices being bad, which is why they are so adept at losing.
