What are the odds we get some midnight baseball?

Also, what are the odds that Gray gets scratched again due to a rain delay?

Right now, they could play, but more rain due around 9. Tough call. Tarp is on and I am drinking a seltzer, waiting for a group from the office to show. This was treat the interns night. Hopefully they are waterproof

Paulie Abs on the park sound system. I wonder if she's related to Paulie Walnuts. I express my sympathy. Nasty Boys now. No Charlton, no myers, no Dibble in sight

I will lock this tomorrow during game 2, which will be game 1. Not the only bass ackwards thing this season.

[edit - might as well use this thread for the 1 PM game if the lineups and pitchers are right]

If it is still Gray vs. Flexen, and the line-ups are right, let's roll with the this thread.

It was pretty much just the date, weather, and the graphics. Also MASN instead of MASN 2.

This Gray HR issue is problematic. One more and he ties Hunter Greene for the NL lead.

Though Scherzer led the league in HRs in 2016 while winning the Cy Young, so in and of itself the problem might be able to be mitigated.

The crowd noise at these July weekday matinees sounds like something from Lord of the Flies - summer camps or eunuch interns I guess

I’m at the game. This is the third time they have played Jump Around in the sixth. Are they trying to make this a thing?  It’s amazing at Camp Randall Stadium. It’s pathetic in a one-fourth full Nationals Park.

Even full up, Nats Park is not the fan base for Jump Around

FYI - I had 29 tickets for last night's game.  5 backed out due to COVID contacts.   then with the rainout, 19 more could not go tonight.  We are down to 3.  I'll be at Audi Field tonight instead.
