Lack of power
I should add that the Nats lost 3 of those 5 games, too, so even when they managed to score runs, the pitching staff gave them right back.

I'll give the Atlanta fans a bit of credit.  We won for nearly a decade, and I don't recall the Nats selling out about half their games the way the Barves fans have been doing this season.

The Braves also have several more decades of history, including a ridiculous run of division titles. They also go to play a normal season the year after winning a championship. The Nats didn't get to do that in 2020. I think Nats Park would have been pretty full pretty consistently that season if it were a normal season.

I can't get on Bell for not scoring on either the Cruz single or the Garcia fly.  He had to hold up on the groundball to wait for it to go through the left side, and the fly was only the first out.

Stadium opened for the 2017 season.  I guess they've won the division every year since 2018.  It's not new anymore than Nats Park was new in 2013.

As punishment for poor performance this team should have to play at RFK again.
