He'd have to be added. 2019 college draftees are eligible this season despite the loss of the 2020 season. Combined between there being no MLB Rule 5 last year and the roster crunch caused by the lost season, this could be a bumper crop of Rule 5s. Good season to have the top pick.
then the 2019 draftees I think will be among the call ups in September if they are in the running not to be exposed in rule 5. Rutledge might be the exception. At this point, this guy might be as likely to pan out as CK, especially with his arm injury on top of past flailing in the majors.
