Brooklyn is the only team ahead of Washington that is playing sub-.500 basketball in the last ten

Won't make any difference.  This team is wildly inconsistent.  Three point shooting is a big part of the game now, and the Wizards are not just not good enough.

This franchise is such a waste of space.  Mediocrity/early playoff exits = the ceiling

NBA equivalent of the Detroit Lions

If only we had a $250 million 6'4 shooting guard.

No KAT tonight. And maybe no Rudy.

Looked at the West standings and was surprised the top 3 are Denver, Memphis and Sacramento. Sacramento? Minny is 6th.

The Sacramento/Indy trade last year looks like it was a massive win for both teams. Pretty rare to see those actually work out

I see they blew a 19 point lead last game. Rather than a 20 point lead. Progress.

Big game against the Bulls today.

They’ll finish twelfth and be shocked when Kuzma leaves

If they could get on a losing streak they could move up to number five. This is the year to tank.

Kuzma is incredibly inefficient.  Best thing that could happen is for him and Porzingis to leave and Beal become unhappy and demand a trade. Then they can start over.

for years there was speculation in Boston about Beal coming to the Celtics to team up with Tatum, but that's sort of been killed by a combination of Brown and Tatum figuring out how to play with each other, Smart stepping up, and the acquisition for cheap of White and Brogdon. They don't have the picks that the Wiz would want, either.

Making salaries match for Beal either gives Washington a terrible contract or guts the acquiring team. I’m curious to see what team would actually do it

This team is so freaking frustrating to watch. Incredible fourth followed by utter crap in OT. How many times can you leave vanvleet open for an uncontested three?

As many times as Beal is out there?  Was that a trick question?   Did not see the game.  Bucks tomorrow.  Then the schedule gets easier again. Two against Detroit. Two against Atlanta.  With the Sixers mixed in.

Beal missed a game winning shot at the end of regulation but made several great plays and shots in the quarter.

Deni, Gafford, and Kuzma were all banged up. They play Milwaukee next

Decided to spring for the $14.99 league pass for the last month. And watch the Wiz “playoff push”.  Watched the end tonight. That’s quite a play there to end the game. Have Brad throw an air ball off the backboard right to the Landlord. Brilliant.
