i saw an article the other day saying the schemes that WUJ has tried to implement are way too complex and the players can't figure them out. It sounds like his time as HC is coming to an end.

So add high basketball iq to athletic as qualities this front office just doesn’t want on the team?

Beal out again with Covid.  He is trying to set a record for how many times he has caught it.

Wizards should try and get Kyrie and KD as a package deal.

the gist of the article is that they are too complex for any team.

Wizards now 6-6. Ted looked very pleased after the game to be at .500 and I could see him thinking he could make the Nats a .500 team.

Team looks better without Beal. What a waste to give him all that money. They could have let him walk and tanked this year to have a sit at the French freak.

Beat the Jazz.  Did not see that coming.  Without Beal of course.

He has a no trade clause. And is basically untraceable anyway. Maybe Westbrook from the Lakers and would probably need another team to match the salaries.

10-7.  Half a game out of third.  I know.  It's a mirage.

Break the losing streak and back above .500.  Looks like a .500 season. Ted will be pleased.

Just good enough to miss out on franchise players in the lottery, not good enough to compete for anything. Is there a banner that ted can hang for that?

i finally watched a game the other night. They are an oddly built team but it seems to make sense to have Beal play the PG role and run the offense. Tingas has looked very good. Rui seems to be an afterthought now.

Wiz come back from a 22 point deficit only to have Beal miss the potentially game winning shot with about a second left. Sigh..

Too talented to tank, not talented enough to compete. I think best case is that we get to watch a fun play in game and then they’re competitive in a series

Ugh.  Need Beal or KP to go out for the season with an injury.  Then trade Kuzma,

Bottom 5 teams have 7 wins.  Next two have 10 wins.  Wizards and Thunder have 11.  We can do this.  This is the year to tank with Wembayana.

Offensively they are OK but don't have enough guys who can shoot threes.  And they don't play defense.  Each of the last draft picks has one skill.  Rui has a good mid range jumper.  Deni plays good D. Ksipert can shoot.  Davis?  Well I don't watch G League.  Tommy should be fired but Ted seems happy to have a maybe play-in team.  It's sad.  Not fun.

Wiz Kids have lost 10 of 11.  Kuzma wants out.  Make it happen.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10058226-nba-trade-intel-three-potential-fire-sales-a-juicy-kyle-kuzma-rumor

'Kuzma (27), however, is a flight risk and precisely the kind of player many rebuilding teams would covet in free agency. He could be a top-five free agent this offseason—at worst, top-10. "He wants out," an NBA source said. "He's looking for over $20 million a season and in a big market [or with a contender]." '
