I don't see Kuzma going anywhere, but they could part with Deni, Rui, and some draft picks. I think they are still around $10 million under the cap but I'm not sure.
But Atlanta will want good players. I can’t imagine Collins and Kuzma will want to share time. Collins is a better defender and rebounder. Neither is an all star but both good players. It’s the NBA so you can’t have ten rotation guys for an eight man rotation. Fragile egos.

I’m not up on the cap. Was Wright under the mid level exception?

At this point the lineup appears to be:

PG: Morris and Wright
SG: Beal and Davis
SF: Barton and Deni
PF: Kuzma and Rui and Gill.
C: Porzingis and Gafford.

Maybe make the first round. Thanks Ted.

Edit. Forgot Kispert.
That’s 12.

Wizards will apparently sign Taj Gibson who was waived by the Knicks. They did need one center who is not skinny as a rail.

I jinxed him.  Played terribly today and Israel lost.  Next up Serbia.

And Deni played.  Surprised after seeing a replay of him turning his ankle.

Losing Delon Wright will hurt the team as he is one of the few adequate defensive players.

Tonight vs. the Pacers is on ESPN which seems odd given the Wizards and that the Pacers are a bottom feeder also.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall between Deni and Kuz in the locker room

I’m not familiar with what you are saying. Can you elaborate. Not doubting you at all. I just don’t follow basketball.
Thanks.

Kyrie got suspended for promoting a movie that denies the holocaust and blames Jews for slavery among other things. Kuzma (and others, he’s the only wizard) then tweets about how you can’t say anything anymore

The Mystics are actually good, the Wizards are the only terrible professional basketball in the DMV.

Looking forward to drafting a stiff with no upside and then wondering why they never improve

was Rui supposed to be a turd pick when they took him?  He's not panned out, but he looked good in college.

Maybe that's the problem.  If my opinion is similar to the Wiz's talent evaluators, then they are only as good as a a guy who doesn't even do a NCAA bracket because he doesn't follow things closely enough.

They keep taking high floor low ceiling guys. Davis. Kispert. Rui. Maybe Deni is the exception but looks like he will never be an above average offensive player. Who would have guessed that when they promoted Ernie’s chief assistant that they would continue down this path.

You must have daughters. Otherwise no one pays attention to the Mystics.
